I have always had a passion for art and while at university was able to explore different art forms: ceramics, painting, drawing, printmaking, metalworking, sculpture, etc. My bachelor's is in psychology with a minor in studio art. I have continued my art practice and incorporated creativity where ever I can.
I primarily work with metals and watercolors. I am continuing my studies in metalsmithing through mentoring, metal courses, and making metal jewelry. I mostly work with copper, brass, and silver. Additionally, I am exploring more sculptural jewelry for gallery display.
My work often reflects some personal/ internal/ spiritual experience. I take a lot of inspiration from my faith and my upbringing.
Recently, I have been inspired by exploration and incorporating found organic objects into my work.
